WHY DO WE CALL OURSELVES ANIMAL FRIENDLY?

As you might expect, no animals were harmed in the making of Bulldog products and we maintain very strict guidelines around the inclusion of ingredients from animal sources and animal testing.

We Never Test Our Products on Animals
No Bulldog products are ever tested on animals and we also monitor our entire supply chain to ensure that none of our partners are conducting tests on the ingredients we use.



We are certified by the BUAV under the Humane Cosmetics Standards (HCS). Launched in 1998, the HCS is the only internationally recognised scheme that enables consumers to easily identify and purchase cosmetic and toiletry products that have not been tested on animals.

Some companies proudly display environmentally responsible or animal-related icons on labels, such as globes, leaves, rabbits (often in a crossed-out circle), dogs, etc. We ask you to investigate the icon and find out exactly what it means. We proudly display the Leaping Bunny logo. This is the only logo which offers the assurance that a company complies with the Standard, proving that its products and ingredients are not tested on animals at any stage of bringing the product to market.

We Never Use Ingredients From Animal Sources
Ingredients derived from animal sources are widely used in personal care products, which is fairly gross. We use vegetable oils like, coconut, and sunflower and their derivatives instead of animal-based options.

All Bulldog products are now approved by the Vegetarian Society.

We Are Animal (Particularly Dog) Friendly
It’s fair to say that dogs occupy a large part of our lives one way or another. Bruno (pictured below) comes to work with Simon most days and while he isn’t a Bulldog he is a big dog trapped in a little dog’s body.
